This track provides an in-depth exploration of weight management in women throughout various life stages, with a focus onaddressing obesity-related health challenges and improving reproductive outcomes. It covers the impact of obesity on reproductive health, the role of anti-obesity medications (AOMs) and bariatric surgery in treatment plans, and strategies to manage weight during perimenopause and menopause. Key topics include the hormonal shifts affecting metabolism and body composition during menopause, as well as the emerging concern of sarcopenic obesity in aging women. Special emphasis is placed on the management of obesity in relation to reproductive health conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and infertility, using evidence-based approaches to care. Attendees will gain comprehensive knowledge on how to tailor treatment plans, incorporate medical and surgical options, and utilize lifestyle strategies to optimize health and fertility in women of reproductive age, perimenopausal women, and beyond.
